Globaltraco is currently the appointed distributor for selected countries in ASEAN and Africa for various established brands of tyre and auto products produced by reliable and reputable manufacturers.

Major line of products distributed by Globaltraco is the GT tyres manufactured by the largest tyre manufacturer in ASEAN, namely PT. Gajah Tunggal (“GT”) in Indonesia. GT is a significant international player in the tyre industry with sales to almost 100 countries worldwide. Appointed by GT since 1996, Globaltraco is distributing its full range of tyres including passenger car radials and the ultra high performance tyres, light commercial radial and bias tyres, truck and bus bias tyres, as well as motorcycle, off-the-road and industrial tyres.

Grandtour tyres manufactured by Grandtour Group in China are the next major line of products distributed by Globaltraco. The Grandtour Group is currently the largest tyre manufacturer in China, with sizable domestic market share due to its renowned and proven quality. Globaltraco secured the distributorship in 2001 and with active promotion, sales for Grandtour has been gradually increasing. Globaltraco also works closely with its principals to develop a new range of tyres catering to the city/urban bus and commercial truck segment.

Nokian tyres manufactured by leading European manufacturer in Finland are the premium tyre line distributed by Globaltraco. Globaltraco was awarded the exclusive ASEAN distributorship from Nokian Tyres in 2001 ; which is renowned for its high performance and winter tyres in the Nordic Region. Globaltraco was further awarded the exclusive ASEAN distributorship for Nokian’s intelligent tyre pressure monitoring devices called “RoadSnoop” in 2003. Globaltraco will work closely with Nokian Tyres to promote its new “intelligent” products along with tyres and alloy wheels.

To complement its core tyre distribution business, Globaltraco also offers other automotive products such as batteries and alloy wheels. Globaltraco is currently the distributor for various brands of wheels including MAK wheels from Italy, AEZ and DOTZ alloy wheels from Germany, Millenium alloy wheels from Indonesia, as well as GT Wheels manufactured by Seyen Heavy Industries in China.

With quality and up-to-date products from these established and cost competitive producers, Globaltraco has captured a sizable share of replacement tyre and alloy wheels market in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand for both the passenger and commercial vehicles segments.

Going forward, Globaltraco will continue its efforts to be a significant player of tyre and automotive products in Singapore and the ASEAN region while striving to add value to both its suppliers and customers. Working closely with the tyre retreading unit of the Group, Globaltraco will exploit opportunities with established organizations and automotive players to better serve their needs for tyres by offering comprehensive solution in tyre management systems and technology.
